Gamescom 2015: 10 of the biggest trailers to get excited about

Missed all of the biggest Gamescom 2015 trailers? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered

Even without Sony and Nintendo present at the Cologne-based games conference, there was still plenty of big new game announcements and gorgeous new gameplay footage to whet the appetite of gamers everywhere.

Microsoft kicked things off a day before the Gamescom festivities, as the Xbox One-makers announced that a big update was on the way in November adding universal Windows 10 app support, that all-important Xbox One backwards compatability and some tweaks to the console’s UI.

Microsoft additionally revealed that Xbox One TV DVR funtionality would land in 2016 and that Xbox Live would be coming to HoloLens. 

EA joined the party as well with a closer look at Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst and a pretty impressive new mode in Star Wars: Battlefront as part of its Gamescom 2015 press conference.
