Medion's netbook, the E1210 was one of the earliest to be announced, but it has become one of the latest to actually see a launch. Nonetheless, the system is now available in Medion's outlet of choice; that is to say: Aldi.

Spec wise there's nothing we haven't seen before - but all the important bits are there:
- 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU
- 1GB DDR2 RAM
- 80GB hard drive
- 10in 1,024 x 600 screen
- Ethernet, Draft-N WiFi
- Windows XP SP3 (including Corel WordPerfect office X3)
- Optional external DVD drive and extended battery
In fact, from the look of it Medion seems to be taking a leaf out of Advent's (a.k.a. DSG) book and simply sticking its own brand in top of MSI's Wind. That said, we were pretty pleased with the 4211, so that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
If you fancy one, Aldi is asking £279.99 for either a silver or black system.
