Previously rumoured under the name of the Dell E, details of Dell's netbook offering have been conspicuous in their absence before now. Fortunately for the curious, Gizmodo has managed to get hold of some leaked imagery on the forthcoming system.

Supposedly the machine is to be called the Inspiron 910 (who thinks the purported 12in-er will be called the 1210?) and if Gizmodo's sources are to be relied upon (and we have no good reason to assume they can't) the system will be spec'd as such:
- 1.6GHz N270 Atom CPU
- 512MB or 1,024MB DDR2 800MHz RAM
- 4GB, 8GB or 16GB SSD.
- Ubuntu or Windows XP
- Bluetooth, 100Mbit Ethernet, WLAN and WWAN (HSDPA)
- Three USB ports
- 4-cell battery
- 0.99Kg with battery fitted
Supposedly the system features two easily accessible 'mini card' slots (one containing the SSD) allowing users to upgrade components - hopefully without voiding any warranties.
Gizmodo's source reckons the Inspiron 910 should get an official announcement on Friday, so we'll get some more information then if we're lucky.
