i'm unable to shoot with my cam Nikon coolpix l 22 messaga apears on the screen "memory card is write protected."

There will be a small slide switch on the side of the card, just slide this down to unlock the card. If this doesnt work it might be a faulty card, try another one in camera and see if that works.
