Well, I suppose this is a good, most would say well overdue! feature. I think the main problem will be this 1GB allowance will only be available to selected parties and not everyone, and with this copyright infringement filter checking all uploaded videos it might not prove worth for many people who want to upload.

Then again I think Youtube gained the praise for allowing clips of any level, amateur or professional to be uploaded, and I don't think the (previous) file/movie length impeded on any of the videos. let's see what people upload now eh!
