Wow, thanks for the article. Our company, BinaryDads, LLP passed K9-Teasers for one of three games that is in the Education category. We are really shocked on the low number of apps, we were guessing that there would be thousands. There are only a handful of educational and kids games out there. The testing was rough, but now everyone should know what to do getting more games out there soon shouldn't be too hard. The free 6.5 Emulator is what I used tonight to test the Marketplace vs. a real device. The next test for the Marketplace will be to see how soon the stores and end users purchase the devices.
No they have to get recertified, which may mean redeveloped for the new PNG requirements. Also if you have links to your website and are selling it there, they may fail it for that as well.

Thw Windows Mobile/Windows Phone website link doesnt work - or rather it works and starts to load but crashes Firefox and wont load in IE8. Have tried it on 2 PC's with the same result
Fair enough the market is a bit crap but there are still thousands of (free) Apps for WinMo that are still available if you can figure out how to use Google.
