Surely it'll have the usual lousy resistive touch screen? Even the most heavily skinned versions of Windows Mobile have to resort to the stylus now and then and you'd need a resistive screen for that, right?
I don't think they need to be subsidised to put Windows Mobile on their handset. We complain about it relentlessly (and rightly so), but it has a lot of boring office-related features going for it. The implementation looks primitive in the post-iPhone world, but they make it the de-facto standard for a lot of people.
Fair comment, but the Toshiba doesn't strike me as much of a business phone. Still you're right, WM does tick a lot of the boxes in power point presentation, if you will. It just does so in crayon...
There's a bunch of us ex-Toshiba owners with long memories too about lack of support (e800 PDA) and shoddy quality (G900 phone).
Even Windows Mobile (or whatever they choose to call it this month) can be bourne if the hardware is good and the manufacturer gives a rats fink about its customers.
