I've used emusic before and though I can't remember their exact prices, are they much different from the ones quoted here?
The unused tracks not getting carried over was also always in place, and to be honest, I found their site difficult to navigate and finding tracks I was afters was a 50/50 affair.
I still use eMusic and am actually very happy with the service. My only real complaints are that certain tracks or albums are not available to UK customers, and there is the occasional mess-up along the lines of "clean" album versions not being labelled as such.
I have had no problems finding the tracks or albums I wanted (which is not to say that everything I could want is on there) but I agree parts of the site could be easier to navigate. Not being able to carry over tracks is a shame but not unreasonable.
As drdark said: What's new? Your price list even mentions eMusic specifically, so what if anything is the difference between regular eMusic and "Music For Life"? If it's nothing more than re-branding, it's hardly news.
Insomniac: What is your country? Tiscali is a UK ISP and the prices are in £GBP, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that it's intended for UK users and therefore may not be available elsewhere.
I do however agree on the "epic fail" part, given that Tiscali appear to have simply plastered their name on an existing servic (eMusic)... also a mild fail by TR who do not seem to have noticed this yet(?)
