Will be interesting to see how the "open plan" application store will work, im quite optimistic however since having used a jailbroken iPhone/Ipod touch I can see the Google app store being comparable with installer/cydia, and both of those are very good experiences in my opinion!

No A2DP and simlocked to only T-Mobile at the moment tho, thats not so good

@ChaosDefinesOrder - that's the beauty of the system. Hopefully an Android option on most HTC handsets will appear soon, but there's no official word yet.

@Norbury - the phone does have a slide-out keyboard. Hence the thickness, I would assume.

I wont be cancelling my HTC Touch HD order. Home desktop syncing AND Microsoft Exchange for office syncing are an absolute essential for me as is tethering. This looks like a work in progress to me - just like Chrome.
