I totally disagree with the comment from Andy as the Flext system is far fairer as you have the choice of voice calls or text messages whileyou remain within the pre agreed monthly contract cost limit so long as you do not overspend on your monthly agreement.
On the flip side (there's always a flip side...), it's a shame TMobile have to go and ruin customer goodwill (& laugh at toothless Ofcom) by massively increasing their charges for calling any 'non geographic' numbers starting in 08xx (yes, including 0845), irrespective of call plan or included minutes (08xx numbers are not included in their call plans). Some tariffs will see the cost triple from 10 to 30p, while others will be paying 40 pence a minute!
That all operators charge for 08xx calls isn't my point; my point is that TMobile have taken Ofcom's recent advice and - unbelievably - used it to profiteer by at least doubling their existing charges for 08xx numbers. The Register has a good article on it:-
