Thats awesome, I always thought Flext was the best plan but this just makes it even better. Adding an extra couple of pounds to my bill for voicemail always annoyed me, and international stuff seems very reasonable. Sadly I have just transferred away from T-Mobile due to signal issues, to a plan on vodafone thats much less suited to me. But at least I have signal in my Dad's village now.
this package sounds like exactly what I need, problem is I took out an orange package a month ago, sigh. free internet + selected international calls, good step fwd even though I have the internet access with orange.
Sounds amazing, but the problem is that there are no competitive deals from other providers, so it's harder to threaten to leave to get a better deal when I renew my contract soon!
Well, '3' has allowed SkypeOut calls since last year to international destinations, so that's comparable. Have used it several times and can't complain (also if you go through Quidco you get 25% cashback from Skype). Also, can anyone correct me as to T-Mobiles's "unlimited" internet? I remember reading somewhere their fair use policy is 500MB/month whereas 3 is 1GB.
Don't worry, not singing 3's praises (their customer service is crap), just giving my perspective.
Just called T-Mobile. I've changed over to this new package. Spoke to a call call Kathy who said that this is only available to current customers only. Will be available to new customer at the beginning of new month. I'm now paying £3 less a month for £40 more credit, with free 08 calls and free voicemail which I had to pay for before.
"* This option comes with a fair use policy of 1GB a month. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our web'n'walk customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your plan, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much."
