Well what are you playing at SONY? from an average range of DSLRs (200, 300, and 350) to down-graded so-called replacements, (230, 330, and 380), now the replacements that should have followed the originals, is that SONY thinking they've conned enough people now, and can get on with what they should be doing, or am I just cynical of a huge company that could match CANIKON if it put it's corperate mind to it.
I for one welcome the lack of video. Video is often poor and rarely used. The awkward shape also makes recording more difficult than the alternatives. I have often used a camera (digital or SLR) and found it mistakenly left on the video mode (by others!!, occasionally myself) and missed a great opportunity. If I wanted to record video, I'd get a camcorder. Otherwise the humble mobile phone will suffice.
