Shame. I saw it in Japan almost a year ago and it really was truely amazing. I'm sure it only worked out just over £1,000 on conversion at that time as well. Should have bought one to sell on :)
Potentially, PS3 1/2, but you would only ever get a dead pixel (not one that's stuck on) as a malfunctioning LED would just be off (I think). In any case, I'd hope that in the case of these particular TVs they'd thoroughly check everyone that leaves the factory to make sure it's artefact free - for the price Sony'd charging, it's the least it could do.
How much for an 11" screen?! Sony have completely lost the plot and they can't pin it on the poor exchange rate! Bye bye Sony - it's been nice knowing you!

No wonder they're bloody thin, the rest of TV is in its base. So, should we expect the same for future, bigger OLED screens? Wafer thin screen, jumbo base? At that price? What are they taking us for? Sony has completely lost it, no matter what they seem to do lately is almost aimed at annoying their customers. The person in charge does not seem to care...
