I bought One. Impressive in appearance, and does indeed do the job in both SD and Hd.

Best feature, can record onto the tape from the computer in both formats. Worst feature, the on-off switch is very hard to operate. Basically a small amatuer camera in a big skin. Wouldn't fool the hardy enthusiast by its appearance, but most think you are recording for tv or something as equally ego-growing.

I did write a review on it, but it dissapeared.
