oooh edging towards the 100 pounds (no pound key on this keyboard) mark where I think I won't be able to resist. Will be very cool as I have enough in my bag to work so don't want novels in there too and its annoying getting english books here in these foreign climes.
As I would use it to replace paperbacks I guess its a similar size to a page size there.
I have a PRS-505 atm and it's fantastic, my biggest complaint is all the buttons, they get in the road when you are reading and can easily be pressed by mistake. Also I read somewhere that the PRS 600 will support the Mac which interests me as the current model only supports windows.
@Haim: If you're using a ANSI (US) layout keyboard then set your OS to use US international layout and the £ key will be alt gr + 4 (the right alt becomes alt gr like normal).
While I can see the advantages of touchscreens on smartphones I don't see much point in a touchscreen ebook reader, surely it has few enough buttons that they can be mounted on the back/side and still have a full sized screen? Also, is drawing possible with an eInk screen? How do you get the lines to show up with the very slow refresh?
The Sony PRS-600 looks very tempting but can't see me buying one of these devices until it is possible to read your choice of newspapers, academic articles and magazines on the device as well as books.
We need more functionality for a broader audience than the current market dictates, what I’d like to see are downloadable daily newspapers via wifi from a Apple Like store.
Perhaps more downloadable children’s books, perhaps even interactive books.
These are just some ideas….I just need SONY or other eBook manufacturers to realise the idea and market is just stagnant in its current form.
