Don't know how I missed the original review of this tech, anyway I'll comment here.

I can see that some of it will be good, like the lighting, but those fans?? Five minutes and my lips would be cracked like the aussie outback and my throat raspy as a...err raspy thing.

if you have the fans as far as most people have them for a HC setup, ould you even feel it?

sony and philips have collaborated before

The fans aren't that bad and only come on when specific things happen, its not like they are blowing 24/7 and yes, if you put them a bit further back behind the monitor / to the side you feel it less. The lights are certainly the main attraction and tend to work very well with games and I can see them also being the main part of any PS3 setup.

Going to be interesting to see what Sony do with the license, whether it is just games or their own peripherals as well.
