The wide support for web protocols is hardly surprising, since the device itself barely does anything! Gotta love server side page rendering and compression though...
I can watch BBC live stream tennis on my E71, and the double click to zoom is nice Still seems to render text a bit funny on the screen though, and it's not as good as Opera in 'snapping' the text size to the screen. For now though it's going to be my default browser.
There's no such thing as a free lunch, and in this case, you surrender your privacy in order to benefit from their server-side processing. From their privacy policy:
