I've been developing on the prototype for this for a while. It's a nice phone, felt nice in the hand despite being slightly bigger than most phones.
This really looks like a great phone, the camera holds a huge advantage over the iPhone but for me the lack of multi touch is a deal breaker. More over I much prefer the iPhones UI to anything else I've seen so far. The i8910 HD looks to be a very good contender in the iPhone territory, but would anyone else rather see what apple has up is sleeve in June/July before making a decision?
@Gordon - actually yeah given that I've got 12 damn tabs open, yeah I'd rather check back on this every once in a while (because I know you folks are so damn concise and dependable - blushes).
@GoldenGuy - less than 21 tabs at any point in time is lightweight IMHO ;)
@J4cK1505 - agreed, it will be a huge issue for many. I'm hoping once the legal issues surrounding multi-touch get sorted out that manufacturers will start sending out firmware updates to enable it since many handsets are theoretically compatible.
Looks nice but isn't the price ridiculous? If I was crazy enough to get a 2 year contract I'd want the phone free. Even with 18 months I resent paying anything for the handset. It's one thing for Apple to get away with it but now everyone else's trying it.
Shame that even if this phone kicked my iPhone's posterior, nothing Orange can do will persuade me to stick with them after my current contract expires.
