WOW! That looks so different to the last 20 models....the Porsche 911 of the phone world. It would be nice to see some actual design in BB products. Still, if it ain't broke...it does look like a very competent business product.
The original Bold is brilliant, just ask any user (dodgy trackball issues aside), the curve is only very good - but poorer screen, a tad slower and less features. I actually want to stay with my old Bold because the smaller keyboard on the new version seems like a move in the wrong direction. If they kept the form factor used the new resolution on the bigger screen and maybe slimmed the thickness down, then that would be the new Bold for me. Ah well, I guess I'll wait for my trackball to completely die (its on its way) and then see how the new Bold fares.
As a business user, for me the RIM's have no match, the iPhone is a toy (albeit a very good one) in comparison and thus shoudlnt be compared (as they almost always are).
Is it just me (although I think this is what lifethrouaghalens was getting at), or does anyone else have difficulty recognising different Blackberry models? Maybe I've just never had much interest...
