From their press release: "Optoma is committed to systematically publishing its ANSI Contrast performance."
I say good for them! - As you mention Hugo, the million to one quoted contrast ratios seen now are just laughable and do not provide the consumer with any real information. Do I get the feeling that most AV marketing bods are being "economic with the truth"?
The HD20 does not lack inputs as you claim. 2HDMI + scart for your PC is more than adequate. I don't know of any Projectors with 3hdmi in. The contrast is ANSI and not full on off and so its not really low then. 1700 lumens. Isn't that too bright?

If you do end up reviewing this projector, please please please include the cost of replacement bulbs. It's a very important factor when buying a projector surely? A friend of mine fell foul of this when he bought a projector, the bulb ran out, and the replacement cost more than the original projector cost!
