I'm trying it with my netbook and 3g dongle. Doesn't really seem to be any different in speed over Firefox? I will give it a week to test the other features. Is Google Chrome worth trying on my netbook? Just after something that speeds up my internet as much as possible :)
Well so much for trying it out for a week! It started to chug just after that (once I had enabled 'turbo'!) and my pictures were blocky etc. I removed it and found the size of the file was 6.66mb..
a bit of a pain to transfer settings in vista as it uses a different directory to store bookmarks/mail/wand etc. I would recommend setting up opera sync from 9.6 and updating it in 10B instead.
Integrated in-line spell checking finally!
Customisable speed-dial page
UI updated, matches vista much better and is generally very pleasant
The new tab bar with page preview is amazing, i cant emphasise this enough!
Haven't tried turbo as i'm happily wired into ADSL2 and don't have a dongle lying around
Site Compatibility:
Windows live mail and facebook finally work properly and quickly! Worth the upgrade just for this imho
No problems as yet, logged into my Uni secure servers and online banking service no problems
Would thoroughly recommend it to all you Opera Fans!
I've been using Opera 10 all day long, and my favorite browser just got better. Go get it if you haven't already!
@Pihrana - It's the default Opera 10 skin on the screen-shot used in the article, but it's taken on a Mac. You have to use WindowBlinds or something similar to change the look of the application frame in your OS.
