I'd imagine these estimates are based purely on the power consumption of the chips, not anything else, like the screen, etc.

However, I would very much like to be proved wrong!

engadget is reporting that the Tegra chipset can pump out up to 10hrs of 1080p video on a single battery charge (what...a car battery?!) This sounds more and more promising every day, certainly the implications for gadget lovers around The World, are huge.
