I do find it is all that I'm looking for to replace my old Samsung F700. I'm afriad I've fallen in love with actual QWERTY, and I want a decent camera. I don't mind "big" phones, I'm a big guy.
I'm not sure what the correct terminology is, but is the keyboard one you could type on, even if it's the two finger poking kind, or do the keys have to be pressed against resistance until they click?

wow, after reading the fill Mobile Review article, that's axactly what I'm looking for from a large screen mobile device. Desktop style layout, finger friendly everything, a physical keyboard, large WVGA screen. Plus, in other articles around the web - slashdot for example, there's rumours that this N900 is not just built for Maemo, they're intending this to be a fully operable Linux device so Nokia will be bundling a flashing utility so you can flash on fully functional Linux distros...
of course that can't be confirmed until Nokia says so, but it sounds promising!
