for me, firefox 3 is a hopelessly buggy mess, the number of times it crashes randomly on me, i have had to switch to V2 or internet explorer to browse some websites...
I've got about 8 excllent firefox v2 add-ons out of which only 2 are compatible with v3. I think mozilla will loose credability if they start to remove the free choice (without harrassment) model they've been so well know for.
Well sorry Mozilla, Version 3 for me, is buggy as hell. Some pages fail to load at all. So I have just reverted to v2.0 And now at least I can use my favourite addons ( eg Adblock :-P sorry TR)
Mozilla think hard before you push us away to a different browser.........
@Chocoa & YG. You do realise many add-ons don't advertise their updates through the Firefox site? Adblock Plus, Reliby and Tab Mix Plus are all compatible just search for their native sites for the latest versions.
As for reliability, have to say I'm crash free too and the loading times - particularly with Java - are quite frankly stunning, not to mention the massively reduced memory hog.
@gettinhigh - that very much depends on how well you know all the third party software library for Firefox. Opera may offer more out the box (though I'm not convinced by a lot of the implementation) but he doesn't provide anything comparable my favourite Firefox add-ons.

I've used Opera, and I choose to use Firefox. I'm not an advanced user by any means, but I really love the add-ons. Haven't seen anything comparable on Opera. I don't have any issues with FF like some have been relaying. It's too bad it is isn't flawless, because I really think it's one of the best pieces of software out there.
