No 'News' there then, nothing we all haven't been experiencing and complaining about for years since the roll-out of the much lauded 3G networks.
LTE won't help at all if it suffers the same cr@ppy contention ratios experienced on the 3G networks. Current technology is more than capable of dishing out acceptable, even reasonable net speeds, but only if there is a substantial enough network in place to cope, and substantial financial backing to fund its continual roll out and evolution.
I'd rather have consistent, fast and reliable 2G/3G signal coverage nation wide, which covers ALL areas with any population, than a few super fast LTE areas and nowt in the rest of Britain.
