Exactly! Why is it that with all the brains they have working for them, companies like Intel are still surprised by this? Netbooks are far more practical, powerful, cheaper and easier to use and upgrade and for the rest of the market the mobile phone as an internet device does perfectly well. I really don't see the point of MID's in 99% of their incarnations.
I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about 'mobile internet devices' and what the diiference is between those and garden variety PDAs and PMPs with interney capabilities. But just looking at the keypad layout on that thing, I know what I\d rather type on - a netbook's near-full size keyboard.
