It's not a bad idea, but I think I'll leave it a while longer before buying one to see whether it actually works. There's been so many fans (external and internal) bouncing around, all claiming to fix the RRoD problem, that I'm starting to think that nothing short of a watercooling system is going to work. If at all.

I guess all efforts MS are doing to remedy the problem are null and void since this meme has a self perpetuating life of its own. The 60GB version apparently has the notorious offending chips relocated to a better position on the motherboard to alleviate heating.

But hey, why stop a widely celebrated joke?! ^_^
