i can't see myself having to plug a watch into a wall charger... maybe it should have a winder, or convert movement into energy like some watches already do. that would be awesome.
"and while I can't entirely see the point of its 7.2Mbit HSDPA".
It's for the millions of people with their 3G-less laptops, that are using their current phones as a Bluetooth modem, unless they are using an iPhone that is.
@Ryan @Digital Fury - hmmmmn, we'll see. I'm not convinced tethering will be the first thing on networks minds with this device... even if it should be!
that charging issue is a good comment, I hadn't thought of that.
Other than that it really is the ultimate for a phone. I'm pretty sick of having to fish mine out of my pocket all the time..... especially when wearing to my skin tight leather pants ooooooooh i love it.
on a more serious note, I'd prefer a retractable ear plug (could also double as a garrot?) so its always there, compared with a bluetooth headset I'd rather look like some guy playing spies than a right knob.
I've always loved the whole Dick Tracy feel to these things! These 'kind' of watches though aren't anything new - they've been around for a while. I bought one last year and yea the only two drawbacks are charging (but I've learnt to take it off at night) and the whole bluetooth headset thing.
I'm not too sure what LG plan to do - but mine's got a built in microphone and speaker. Personally though, compared with this alternative, I look less of a div using the bluetooth headset! Can't remember where I got it from, but there's a few very much like it here http://www.gotogadgets.com/watches
