and speaking of which how do you owners of the e71 find the size of its keys? it is an exceptionally featured and beautifully styled handset albeit one with a slightly cramped keyboard. Maybe i should wait for the palm pre instead
@ ffrankmccaffery, for the love of God do not wait for the Pre! If it's the keyboard you're curious about, the one on the Pre is terrible! The keys are soo tiny it's amazing they released it like that. I mean what the hell were they thinking?
As for the E71, the keys are cramped, but it's a lot better than the Pre. With the shape the keys are, you could get used to it. The E72 is about to rear it's head http://u.nu/8hcc3, I'd wait for it, looks interesting.
The keys may be cramped, but I can type surprisingly quick on it (my fingers aren't that big though). The E72's keyboard is said to be based on the E63, which would make it an upgrade.
I used to be excited of the Palm Pre, but the closed nature of the OS and build quality issues has put me off somewhat. It is pretty outdated now anyway. 8GB storage with no form of expansion? No thank you. I will be getting the E72 next month and a 32GB card once it becomes available.
E72 next month you say? Dammit. I was planning to take my E71 onto a sim only tarrif as it's by far the best phone I've had, and the build quality is so good it still works like new at 18 months.
If Nokia manage to come up trumps again though I may be renewing my contract... Sigh.
