If you know where to look, you can already get 6.5 & geotagging on the X1.
I've not put it on mine yet (I only got it last week ;¬) ), but other than the accelerometer and the bigger keyboard, the X2 offers nothing new or compelling (IMHO).
Would like to see Android on Xperia, maybe the X3 will be OLED capacitive. Now that Apple have released in Japan and soon in China and people don't seem to mind the reduced character input support SE will jump onto capacitive rather than resistive in a bigger way.
Might even hold off on the Satio for the X3 if it gets announced anytime soon, may have to buy a new battery for the old N95 though, this one only lasts a day on standby now, and a couple of hours using 3G.
@drdark - Although the OS itself is more touch-friendly then before, the thousands of apps aren't! Many of my apps would be unusable without the use of a stylus, just because things are so cramped. Plus I still doubt how touch-friendly the 6.5 is, as the beta I used wasn't that touch-friendly anyway. What HTC needs to do is hurry up and get their patented stylus-enabled capacity screens into production!
Oh I didn't intend to indicate WinMob6.5 a revolution in touch-friendliness or anything, but wasn't clear why you doubted the X2 would have a capacitive screen.
I've fingered a 6.5 beta bit myself and didn't come away impressed. Honeycomb arrangement was just silly for one thing...
