Soooo.. Does everyone need to get 802.11r+n? When they bother to finish n of course. Or does r just come after n.. with n speeds? Or can current adapters be updated to use this? Does it work with wimax?
I'm glad IEEE is there to make sure there isn't confusion.
Yeah I was wondering that, 802.11r seems like a revision or an improvement to current WiFI standards rather than a new type of wireless comms. So are we going to end up with 802.11n routers with 802.11r technology or will Wireless-R replace A/B/G/Draft-N?! But I like the theory behind 802.11r
