my ideas for a net book all involve 4GB of ram, a stonking great octo core processor and a strapping big graphics card to boot...

i would gladly pay... some money... if somebody did that :D

That would be a great idea for a netbook skin. Have a 3d-effect picture showing a motherboard fitted with a long graphics card lengthways with a couple of Q9450 CPU's in a corner and two-four sticks of ram nestled along the side. Fill in any gaps with some capacitors, coils of while, PCBs and other greebling and the end result should look pretty impressive.

Plaster the palm rest with Intel, Nvidia, Corsair, Thermalright, Noctua and similar case badges and decorate the underside with another 3d-picture of a 200mm fan for extra silliness.
