Hmmm... a good idea, in the vein of the File Hippo Update Checker. But can it be trusted not to utterly brick your PC? Although really like the idea, I know that drivers are one of the trickiest things to get right and maintain system stability while upgrading.

ALso, does it have the ability to roll back drivers that don't perform well?

Are beta drivers supported?

@Eddy - think most of this is actually explained in the article ;) Driver roll-backs are supported so it shouldn't 'brick your PC' while the software advises how risky each potential driver update is to system stability.

The one point that wasn't: beta drivers are not currently supported, probably with good reason.

These things have been around a while and there are many other products like this such as DriverAgent, Driver Detective and Radarsync.
