Waiting till January to buy a new laptop and a Studio XPS 13 would really interest me too. The only thing wrong with the Studio 15 is the size IMHO.

i really hope dell focus a bit more on a quality fit and finish with their new laptops next year. i like the current studio and xps ranges but ive always felt they just appear cheap in construction. i have an xps m1710 right now but i want something a bit more portable, lets hope the studio 14 or xps 13 live up to it!

My aging XPS Gen 2 laptop has caused me one strangulated hernia too many so I'll probably be making the plunge for a new workstation next year. The client I'm working for has a bunch of Dell Precision and Latitude machines and they have excellent build quality- the customer service from Dell also makes HP look like the bloody Keystone cops.

One of the machines that they have is a quad core M6400, the PSU is big enough to make people's fillings spark at ten paces.
