Ed, you philistine! In a world of samey-samey looking cameras this Casio stands out. Naturally it won't please everyone, but at least it isn't simply trying to please those same people already catered for by the clones. Anyway, hurry up and answer your own question (please)- does it perform?

Philistine?! Really? Just because something looks different, doesn't mean it's good. More to the point, it doesn't actually look all that different to every other 'rugged' piece of technology - it's bright, it's chunky. Entirely what I'd expect. We'll answer the performance question when Cliff actually gets his hands on one.
