I haven't seen a keyboard that busy since the the days of the Sinclair Spectrum and, though I could just about live with that, I really, really don't want all my peripherals hanging out of the back of my keyboard. Quel dommage!
Does the touchscreen work like a trackpad so you don't have to use a mouse? Perhaps that would give it some kind of reason to exist. Still, I can't believe they put a battery in this product. Must've had some spare space to use up...
Is that a power button next to the delete key I see? That looks like it'll make a fair few users frustrated.
If Asus were to make a techie version of this then it'd fly off the shelves - add keyboard output, touchpad functionality, video input, externally accessible bootable storage etc and you've got everything you need for computer troubleshooting in a thin, small and cheapish package. Assuming the keyboard was decent of course.
