The video linked states spills of 90cc (or 90ml) can be withstood, which isn't very much if you ask me. Surely it matters more on the nature of the liquid spilled? Hot sticky coffee is going to do more damage than bottled water. What about a pint of Guinness though? That's what I want to see tested. Surely no one in the UK pronounces ASUS as Ah-seus? I say A (as in the letter A) sus, as in sus-pect. This is the french way of saying it, non?
I agree that Ay-sus is the only one I've ever heard in the UK. The only downside of this is the similar sound to "Acers" which can be problematic if talking to unknowledgeable laptop sales staff!
