Sorry, I can't say it is stupid. Apple is a fashion... you need to in fashion therefor get the latest Apple product. Don't believe? As your friend that uses an iPod, why they change their perfectly working iPod... you will be surprised by the answer.

Beside probably the latest Mac OS won't even work on older machines.

I'm sure that comment wasn't made with a great deal of seriousness, but instead a light-hearted way of reminding anyone who may have just come out from under a rock that there are a new range of Apple MacBook's being announced tomorrow! Hurrah!

Anyone wanna buy my MacBook Pro? Mint condition, 14 months old, gimme a good offer I may even whip one of them savvy new Intel SSD's in it, hehe. Due into the UK channel on the 21st y'know...

interested - if the new macbook pros don't live up to my expectations (9800m gtx PLEASE ;-) then i'll probably rush out and grab the last gen ones. the design still pleases me and they're all solid performers. plus i'm hoping the base models fall below a grand on the high street. dodgy gpu or not.
