A screen shot comes out of a new (and admittedly, much improved and impressive looking) mobile OS, and the bashing of the iPhone begins. For all it's faults, I thought most people agreed that the user interface for the iPhone was at least better than crap...
Most of the items you listed could easily just be app updates for current Android (1.5/1.6) - like the Google Maps changes.
What exactly is Android 2.0 adding?
Unified inbox and better contact integration would be welcome. I'm also a little miffed that the contact list will only sync with Gmail, Flikr, and Facebook. Where are the IMs, where most people have a few unique contacts?
A native multi-protocol IM solution would be awesome, too. But eBuddy fills the void well.
Am I the only one who thinks Android UI is pretty unintuitive? I have played with Android devices and the UI, while 'flashier', is just as clunky as WinMob. Pretty unimpressed for a so-called 'modern' UI.
you have obviously never tried to use winmob for long periods of time with your fingers. That's without even talking about trying to go through the settings menu which useless you are fairly tech minded is next to useless. WinMob is Clunky because its fundamentally out of date OS which microsoft are desperately dressing up until they can get version 7 out. Android is a little immature still but once u have been using it for a week you will never want to go back to WinMob. Is it as easy to use as the iphone? no but then nothing as customisable as android is ever going to be quite as easy to use but its much better than winmob
