Nothing new or special :/

The original desire (which i still own) was inventive and new and has stood the test of time. I was hoping now my 2 year contract was coming to an end with my desire that htc would release some special.

i know software wise my phone has been left behind, but hardware wise i'm not really missing much

i understand there has been gradual improvement with speed and so with dual core, but it feels like all the android company's have been chucking out these kind of phones for a while ... i hope there is something new in the mobile congress even if its going back to the basics and increasing my one day use battery or even a better loudspeaker + lots of flashy new stuff (quad core maybe?) and not a massssssssssive screen
