You can now pre-order the Lenovo Yoga Book in the UK

Lenovo Yoga Book

Lenovo recently unveiled it's new Yoga Book at IFA 2016, and we found it to be a refreshing take on the hybrid design.

Unlike other 2-in-1s which focus on touch screen usability, the Yoga Book comes with a pressure sensitive keyboard, which is attached to the display, and a stylus which also doubles as an actual pen.

It's a novel approach that we found worked surprisingly well, and if you were similarly intrigued by Lenovo's latest, you'll be happy to know you can now pre-order the Yoga Book in the UK.

A Windows 10 version of the device, which comes with a Carbon Black finish, is available for £509.99 and will ship within around 11 business days.

Those who prefer a mobile OS can also pre-order an Android 6.0 Marshmallow version of the Yoga Book, which comes in either Gunmetal Grey or Champagne Gold.

The Android models are priced at £429.99 but won't ship for another four weeks according to Lenovo.

With a 10.1-inch FHD screen, and sleek design, the Yoga Book certainly looks the part, and we were quite taken with the display when we used it, although blacks weren't as deep as we'd like.

But the internals aren't all that impressive. With an old school Intel Atom 64-bit CPU and modest 4GB of RAM, we're sceptical about the Yoga Book's ability to run Windows 10 – although, Android should run fine.

Still, the touch-sensitive keyboard/pad has us excited. There's no physical keys, with haptic feedback providing the simulation of real keys.

But it's the stylus, powered by Wacom's Passive EMR Technology, which makes the touchpad an even more intriguing offering.

Using the stylus you can take notes or doodle in any app or program with touch sensitivity built in, which makes the Yoga Book a decent proposition for those looking to do graphical work.

Lenovo's device comes with the stylus, ink refills, and book pad and paper, while a carry case can be bought separately for £34.99.
