You can now buy 360 games digitally on Xbox One

Microsoft has rolled out a new system software update for Xbox One, adding a number of new features and improvements.

Xbox One owners can now purchase backwards compatible Xbox 360 games via the console marketplace.

Other new additions include 16-person party chat and improved thumbstick accuracy for the Xbox One Elite Controller.

You can also watch videos directly from the Activity Feed, insteading of launching another application.

Earlier this week, Assassin’s Creed, Dark Void and Grid 2 were made backwards compatible with Xbox One.

Those who digitally pre-order Dark Souls 3 for the console will receive a free download code for the original game.
