Yezz Mobile has delivered a newcomer to its range of Billy Windows Phone handsets, the Billy 5S LTE.
The mid-range blower, announced at CES 2015, runs Windows Phone 8.1 and, as the name suggests, brings 4G LTE connectivity at a lower price point.
It’s got a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB on-board storage (can be boosted with 64GB via microSD). It’s also got dual SIM functionality, making it a decent option for those travelling abroad.
In terms of cameras, there’s a 13-megapixel front facing lens and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front of the device.
The launch of the Billy 5S follows the arrival of the Billy 4.7 and Billy 4 handsets in 2014.

The phones are endearingly-named after Bill Gates and are among a growing list of handsets pushing down the price of Windows Phones.
Microsoft is pioneering it with the launch of its lower-end handsets as the company looks to challenge Android’s dominance of cheaper smartphones.
Yezz Mobile is yet to announce pricing or availability yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
