Microsoft has confirmed the free games coming to Xbox One Games with Gold for January 2015.
Ahead of the Christmas season, Microsoft has revealed which games will be offered for free in January as part of the Games with Gold service.
In fact, Microsoft is touting January 2015 as the best Games with Gold offerings to date.
In January, there’s just one game on offer for the Xbox One and that’s D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die.
This game is from the Japanese game designer behind Deadly Premonition and is a game originally heavily reliant on the Xbox One Kinect to solve puzzles and investigate.
You play as David Young, a detextive whose wife has just been murdered. Following the events, David finds he can’t remember the past, but can suddenly travel through time.
He uses his new found abilities to travel back in time and discover the truth around his wife’s death.
This puzzle game will definitely be taxing on those New Year’s Day hangovers.
From January 1 to 15, Xbox 360 gamers will get access to MX vs. ATV Alive for free.
Whether you fancy a spot of supercross or motocross, or just tackling some freestyle events, there will be enough to get your teeth into.
Then from January 16 to 31, Xbox 360 gamers will be treated to the mammoth The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
Perhaps preparing you for the May launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, this RPG will definitely keep you going with its hundreds of hours of gameplay.
