Microsoft has announced Windows 10 will allow you to stream Xbox One games to tablets and PCs.
With Windows 10, you’ll be able to stream Xbox One games over the internet to your PC and tablet.
“With Windows 10 we will enable streaming of Xbox One games to any Windows 10 PC or tablet in your home later this year,” confirmed Xbox Boss, Phil Spencer during today’s Windows 10 event.
After a one-time setup, where your new Xbox app for Windows 10 searches for all the Xbox One consoles in your home, your Windows 10 device will show all the Xbox One games you currently have installed.
You’ll then be able to stream those games to your device, over what we assume is a local network only.

During the Windows 10 event, Spencer showed him picking up his paused Forza Horizon 2 game from his Xbox One and hitting play on his Microsoft Surface 3 tablet running Windows 10.
It looked very slick during the demo, but obviously it could be an entirely different matter in real life, as it can be with the PS4 Remote Play this functionality is very similar to.
Spencer played Forza Horizon 2 on his Surface using an Xbox One controller, and could even access the Xbox One UI to turn off the console remotely.
There’s no word on when this functionality will be made available via Windows 10, as we still don’t have a release date for the latter as yet.
