The Xbox Live Spring Sale is due to launch on March 26 and will be offering a host of quality content at bargain bucket prices.
Starting March 26, Microsoft has stated the Xbox Live Spring Sale will introduce up to 75 per cent discounts on a range of titles ranging from movies to DLC.
“Get the very best discounts on Xbox Live Arcade games, Games on Demand, Add-ons, Movies and more,” says the Xbox Live Spring Sale holding page. “Come back on 26th March to see the amazing discounts.”
On the holding page for the Spring Sale, it hints that five titles will be offered under each of the XBLA, Add-ons, Games on Demand and Movies headers, but the actual content to be put on sale is currently under wraps.
Running until April 2, the Xbox Live Spring Sale will last just a week, so Xbox Live users should be quick to make their purchases so as not to miss out on what Microsoft is marketing as one of its best sales.
The Spring Sale follows quickly on the heels of the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale, which started on February 26. The most recent sale provided special discounted prices of up to 85 per cent for over 60 titles, including Halo 4, Dishonoured, Red Dead Redemption and Valve’s Orange Box bundle.
It is unclear whether any titles in the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale will be repeated in the Xbox Live Spring Sale, but whatever content will be offered is sure to come at fairly irresistible prices, if the recent flurry of sales is to continue.
The Xbox Live Spring Sale is sure to provide something to distract Xbox 360 gamers until the eagerly awaited Xbox 720 launch said to be happening on April 26. Although not yet officially confirmed by Microsoft, there has been a wealth of online rumours surrounding the next-gen console, especially since the PS4 was unveiled last month.
