WWDC 2013 is just hours away, here's how to watch the live stream

Apple has confirmed it will host a WWDC 2013 Live Stream, offering eager tech fans the opportunity to keep up with the company’s keynote and the expected iOS 7 unveiling.

With the official stream to be broadcast via the official Apple website, the Cupertino based company has confirmed that the WWDC 2013 live stream will also be available to Apple TV owners as well as those running iOS 4.2 or higher on their portable Apple products, such as the iPad mini or iPhone 5.

With WWDC 2013 kicking off later today, Apple has revealed that the live stream will be available from 6pm BST. Tonight will also see Microsoft offer further Xbox One details in its own, pre-E3, press conference.

Widely tipped to feature a formal unveiling of the repeatedly rumoured iOS 7 operating system, the WWDC Keynote is expected to see Apple CEO Tim Cook share the stage with the company’s design chief Jony Ive.

Having driven the designs of the iMac, iPad, iPhone and iPod over recent decades, Ive has been roped in to lending his Midas touch to Apple’s upcoming software offerings, with iOS 7 to be the first operating system to benefit from his design traits.
