Wargaming has announced the World of Tanks Xbox One beta is rumbling in next week.

The World of Tanks Xbox One beta event runs from July 11 - 12, giving you just two days to get involved.

However, you can pre-download the beta on July 10, so you're all ready to get rolling come July 11.

Anyone who takes part in the two day Beta event will receive special bonuses. These include the Premium American Tier 3 M22 Locust light tank, just for simply logging into the game.

If you happen to already have that tank, you'll instead receive 180,000 in silver as well as a garage slot.

Wargaming will also be giving players additional experience point during the Xbox One beta testing period. Anyone logging in between 7pm and 10pm BST (11am to 2pm PT) on July 11 and 12 given a 2x XP bonus on all battles and a 2x Battle Operation that can be used later.

The Xbox One version of World of Tanks has been recreated in HD, with Wargaming claiming the game pushes the Xbox One to its limits.

This edition also bridges the gap between Xbox One and Xbox 360 with cross-platform support including shared progress and content between the two platforms using a single Xbox Live account.

There's also a brand new Player vs Environment mode (PvE) to come with the Xbox One version too.

World of Tanks will be a free download for all Xbox Live Gold members, or you can get the game for a free seven-day trial.
