Amazon Prime’s latest perk is a range of free books, magazines and comics for subscribers in the US.
The company has announced Prime Reading which will feature rotating selections of over 1,000 titles.
Prime subscribers can access the reading material from the Kindle app for iOS and Android, as well as Amazon’s own hardware.
The best-sellers on tap include: The Hobbit, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, The Man In the High Castle, The Millionaire Next Door, Half Way Home and When I’m Gone.
In terms of comics, subscribers will have access to the The Complete Peanuts Vol. 1 and Transformers: Robots in Disguise Vol. 1.

There’ll also be rotating selections of current issues from the likes of Bon Appetite, National Geographic Traveler, People, Sports Illustrated, Popular Mechanics and Runner’s World.
The newest perk adds to the existing tenets of fast, free shipping, a library of music and video content, free Audible Channels as well as unlimited photo storage.
Today’s perk is different to the Kindle Unlimited subscriptions and the Kindle Lending Library, which offers a library like service for Kindle device owners.
We’ve reached out to Amazon to clarify whether it plans to offer Prime Reading in the UK.
