Upstart smartphone start-up Wileyfox has announced its first handset, the Wileyfox Swift, will go on sale in Europe on September 22.
The London-based manufacturer debuted its two new handsets at an event last month packing the Cyanogen OS 12.1, which is the same modified version of Android used on the OnePlus One.
The Wileyfox Swift, which features a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, a 720p 5-inch display and 13/5-megapixel cameras will cost just £129.
Completing the package is 16GB of internal storage, 2GB RAM, support for dual SIMs and a 2500Ah battery pack.
While the Swift is ready to join the ranks of affordable Android handsets within the next three weeks (via Android Central), we’re still not sure when the higher-spec Wileyfox Storm will hit the market.
The £199 Storm is more of a mid-range offering and arrives with a Snapdragon 615 processor, a 5.5-inch full HD display and a massive 20-megapixel rear-facing snapper.

Wileyfox is yet to announce availability for that device.
We’re going to be getting super familiar with both handsets soon and will be posting reviews in due course. Stay tuned.
